It's not all fun in this job, you know. On Saturday night, when most of you were settling down in front of your TV to enjoy the Ryder Cup highlights and Celebrity Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, I was in the heart of London's theatrical West End enduring two and a half hours of sex talk.
Booking the tickets had been embarrassing enough. I can just about cope with ringing up and asking for a seat at The Vagina Monologues, but when it came to making a reservation for Richard Herring's new show, Talking Cock, the words were barely out of my mouth before my colleagues collapsed in fits of laughter and I went beetroot red.
