So it is a delicious irony that the 2016 presidential contender who has most cast aspersions on Mr. Obama as un-American (recently warning voters that the President “wants your guns”), who would impose religious tests on refugees, and who would end birthright citizenship for the babies of illegal immigrants born on U.S. soil, is now the subject of a birther controversy of his own.
