to have (somebody) a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp
Contexto
Here’s a tip for you: most humans don’t like the fat and the skin of their farmed meat. Yes that’s right, the best bits in most cases! That’s a real opportunity for you guys. Don’t let it slip! Position yourself right by the softest human. Not that kind of soft! Soft-hearted. It’s usually the female, but not necessarily. Open your eyes as wide as physically possible and stare at her like she’s the most beautiful think you’ve ever seen (I know, that’s going to take some real acting skills if your human has a face like a Bulldog chewing a wasp, but think of the rewards… no offence meant to any Bulldogs reading). If things are going well and she looks at you or talks to you, edge a little closer and put your snout on her knee. This is a real heart-wrencher.
